I'm not saying that the humanitarian situation in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip is acceptable or that we shouldn't sympathize with the suffering of the Palestinians living there. I'm just saying that the world isn't seeing the whole picture. Enter the brand new shopping mall that just opened in the area so commonly referred to as the "world's largest open air prison."
All while it is claimed that that the people of Gaza have barely any money to survive on, can't get essential materials in, and have inadequate electricity. See some of the photos by clicking here. You can also see photos of an Olympic-sized pool, high-end restaurants and packed food markets at the site, which also says that the life expectancy for someone in Gaza is higher than in Turkey.
